When I was given the task as the chief rosette to search for an
interiors person the criteria were
A lady
Must be able to translate dreams into reality
Now where was I going to find that? Swarna and me go back a long way
and I was positive that she was the only one that could understand,
keep me grounded with my exaggerated expectations yet bring her views
as a woman, a professional and most importantly a friend.
The 1st thing she wanted in the order mentioned were : the
management's requirements, the budget, the concept and the marketing
guidelines...A great approach to understand a product inside out. The
next thing that stood out was she actually believed in our concept and
signed up to be a member , the thought process being , "I belong to
the place "she said..
After several months of discussion, back and forth re-iteration, we
got our approval , I must say she knew the minute details of how she
wanted the place to look like and insisted we understood her point of
view.
As the place developed, we could actually see the rendered pictures
actually coming to life , it was exactly like the pictures she drew ,
explained and most importantly painted to us was so realistic .
We are very happy that Swarna painstakingly chose the tiles, the
colors, the furniture , all after scrounging every shop that was owned
by a woman, that detailing was taking our concept to the next step,
today we proudly have made that a part of our story and journey when
we talk about our concept.
We are proud to have associated ourselves with Swarnalatha Reddy, her
eye for details, knowledge and ability to visualize and explain is par
excellence.
Thank you Swarna for breathing life into our dream and making it 5000
sq ft of pure bliss....
